For part of our fun day we had a maths 'lesson' about smarties. We had to predict how many were in the tube and whether everybody would have the same amount, count the different colours, record the colours in a tally and make a graph to show how many of each colour. Then we answered questions about the smarties. How many of each colour? How many altogether? How many more pink than green? How many more red than yellow? The best part was when we ate the smarties. Who would know that maths could be such fun?!
