The children of 4AJ had a hands on experience creating food webs and then a rather tangled foodweb, in order to help them visualise the dynamics of predator, prey relationships in an ecosystem. We also spent some time organising vertebrates according to their characteristics by using dichotomous keys. Finally, we enjoyed a visit from the Bugman and a few brave souls even handled some of his wonderful critters.
