YEAR 5 Trip to Dover Castle

Today we enjoyed a visit to Dover Castle where we experienced 2000 years of history. Firstly, we delved into the Medieval tunnels on the way to the atmospheric Secret Wartime Tunnels. We were amazed with the Roman lighthouse; then we went to The Great Tower and learned more about Henry II. Moreover, we learned about WWI and the role of the WWI Fire Command Post by using some artefacts. It was a very educational trip and everybody had a great time!

What a fantastic way to end the school year!
