Year 3 at the Shepway Primary Schools' Singing Day at Harvey Grammar School on 17th March 2016
Year 3 attended the Shepway Primary Schools' Singing Day at Harvey Grammar School. They joined with children from other Shepway primary schools to sing the National Anthem (to celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday); Danny Boy (as it was St Patrick's Day); Step it up for Sport Relief; All Over the World and I'm alive, alert, awake. They also took to the stage to perform Use the Force.
Here are some of their thoughts on the day:
“I liked singing Bungalow because people liked my actions.”
“I liked singing the Sport Relief song.”
“I found it fun because I saw people who go to my swimming club outside of school.”
“I liked it when we went on the stage to sing our song.”
“I liked all of the songs.”
“My favourite part was when we sang ‘Use the Force’ on the stage.”
“I liked it when I was sitting at the front of the stage singing.”
“I loved it. It was really exciting.”
“We enjoyed the Bungalow song.”
“I felt nervous about going on stage but I enjoyed it.”
“We loved listening to the others.”
“I was excited.”
“We sang the Sports Relief Song with everyone in one voice.”
“I loved the air guitars!”
“The song ‘All over the World’ made me feel happy."
