Year 2 Pirate Day
Welcome matey's to the gallery for our Pirate Day Celebrations.
The children had a fabulous time and looked fantastic in their costumes- well done parents for getting them to look ship shape. The children enjoyed a host of activities including:
*making fruit kebabs and pirate punch (to avoid scurvy)
*baking hard tac biscuits
*making origami racing boats
*creating treasure maps and going on a treasure hunt
*designing a fashionable pirate hat
* using 3D shapes to test the best shape for a tin foil hull
Both the children and staff were overjoyed to see such a large parent turn out. It was lovely entertaining you all. Here are a few snaps and some video of the children singing for parents who weren't able to make it.
