World Book Day- Year 2

Year 2 have really enjoyed a thrilling start to World Book Day. First they spent the morning listening to retellings of 'The Magic Paintbrush' and 'Finn McCool' and they especially enjoyed joining in with the actions. After that, they excelled in a drama workshop based on the story 'The Wizard of Oz'. 

Later in the day, they will continue to write an adapted version of The Frog Prince; introducing their own choice of fairy-tale characters to the plot. 

Finally, we enjoyed choosing our World Book Day reads when the Waterstone's representative visited our library. As you can see the children were engrossed in their exciting new reads.
