Today in class we read chapter 8 of our book Floodland. Here are some of our responses to the questions we were asked.
What is Zoe doing?
Zoe is searching secretively and quietly for Munchkin’s entrance to his secret door.
How is Zoe feeling?
She is worried that she will get caught by Dooby. She is feeling anxious and frightened.
What does she see?
She sees a beam of light that grows bigger and bigger. There is a hidden door (about half way up) in the wall and Munchkin climbs out of it.

What is Zoe doing? Trying to be as quiet as a mouse tiptoeing along the dark black hole trying to find what and what Dobby’s hiding from every one.
How is Zoe feeling? Gathering anger and emotions charging at Sarah like a bull shouting like a mad man inside crying with anger throwing herself at Sarah filling useless wonting to be her with her mum. Dropt to the flour crying.
What does she see? Zoe could see her mum’s old pendant trying not to believe it wondering is my parents alive are they not alive.

To bargain with Munchkin.Zoe will not say about the passage if he does tell her where the boat is.
What does she see next? How does she react?
Unexpectidly, Zoe saw her mums pendent on Sarahs neck.Zoe lost her temper and tried to wrestle her to the ground.
How do you think Zoe feels at the end of the chapter?
William reassures Zoe that her parents are still alive and somewhere on the mainland.

Zoe is prudently trying to find Munchkin’s secret passage. She is foraging against the dilapidated walls of the catheredral.
What does she see next? How does she react?
Interestingly , she perceives Sarah wearing a necklace that looks like her mum’s and fights with Sarah for the necklace.
