Sporting Dreams Assembly

Our school was fortunate enough to have local athletes James Sheridan (UCI Bike trialist) and Josh Kennedy (Professional Boxer) deliver an enthralling assembly. As part of their work as ambassadors for the Shepway Sports Trust, they shared with us the motivations and hardships they had to overcome in order to achieve their goals of being elite athletes. They also discussed how these skills could help pupils achieve success academically too.
