In our first competitive event this year, our talented boys and girls finished second and sixth respectively in the Shepway District Sportshall Athletics. The event was run over two days (8th and 9th November) at Three Hills Sports Park run by our partners the Shepway Sports Trust (SST). In the first leg our Year 5/6 team performed valiantly and with great sportsmanship to finish a well fought 6th place. The following day our Year 3/4 team of boys and girls dominated in the track events winning 8 out of 12 possible heats. They continued this good form in the field events to finish a well-deserved second place overall. A big thank you to all the supporting adults and to Churchill Primary School who kindly ferried our pupils to and from the event so they didn't get caught in the torrential showers.
