Sea Lions learn self-defence and keeping safe

Today, Denise from Canton Martial Arts visited our academy. She taught us to recognise what a stranger is and not to answer the door by ourselves. She also taught us how to deal with bullies in a non-violent manner. We also learnt some karate moves and counted to ten in Japanese. We also learnt that we do not practise karate in school but it is safe to practise as part of an active lifestyle and doing it alongside friends in an out-of-school club.
