Samba drumming

The Year 5s and 6s were given workshops in Samba drumming and an elite group then played for the closing ceremony of the Whirl around the world sporting event.

They all had a great, albeit noisy, time and were really quick at picking up the varied rhythms and layers of sound that made up the Samba Reggae.
