RE- Holy Week

To start our new RE unit Sealions have been thinking about 'What Easter means to Christians?'. First we ventured into the infant playground and discussed signs of new life where the children were quick to link their knowledge of the seasons and Spring. They heard part of the Easter story and discussed links they found between new life and the story of Salvation. We will be learning more about the Holy Week and what Christians do to prepare for this and why. 

Theo- ' These pictures remind me of sadness, the tree is dying like Jesus died 'nd people got upset'.

Myla- ' These pictures make me think of new life. The daffodils grow back again and Jesus came back when he died.'
