3 CA P4C - what is anger?
In our Prosper lesson we were discussing feelings; good feelings and bad feelings. When 'anger' came up, we tried to answer the question 'What is anger?' Here are some of the children's responses:
When someone upsets you.
When someone makes you annoyed and you take revenge.
When someone is shouting at you.
When you're moody.
Anger is bad because it makes your heat beat fast and then sometimes you are angry with other people as well as the people who made you angry in the first place.
We talked about what we can do if we get angry. Here are a couple of solutions:
Think happy thoughts.
Take yourself away from the situation so that you can calm down.
Go somewhere quietly and play a game.
Then we asked if it was ever ok to be angry.
We had some mixed responses but then ran out of time so we will revisit that question next week.
