Many of the children have been involved in a variety of musical activities since September. They have taken an active part in our Harvest and Christmas services and also participated in Build a Band Day at Harvey Grammar School and at the Youth Festival of Remembrance at the Leas Cliff Hall. We also had our lovely Carols by Candlelight.
As you can see from the photos the children had a great time and were a credit to Christ Church.
We also have one current and two ex-pupils attending Shepway Brass Academy and they were fortunate to be able to perform in a concert at the Tower Theatre with the Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment Band. The brass academy runs on Saturday mornings in the Community Building Hall and new members are always welcome. If you would like more information please see Mr or Mrs Driscoll.
