Habitats and predators!
5th Dec 2019
Last week, in science, Stingrays and Sharks became predators! We were looking for a tasty meal outside and found some juicy caterpillars to munch and crunch! The lesson was about how animals are suited to their habitat and we discovered that camouflage is a very important thing, especially when you don't want to get eaten by a load of year 2 children! Out of lots of different coloured caterpillars, red, green, yellow and brown, all the red ones were found, but only 2 of the dark brown ones which showed us how the colour of an animal can really help to prevent getting eaten.
