Big Bad Pig Hunt

The Children of Class 2J have been learning about writing instructions. To stimulate their interest we decided to go on a hunt for the Big Bad Pig- a character from our class reader 'The Three Little Wolves and The Big Bad Pig. We searched high and low throughout the school grounds looking for clues where he had been. After following his trail of destruction we decided we must catch him. The children first drew out their ideas on how they were going to catch him for Farmer Field and then write a set of instructions for the farmer to follow so the pig can be captured safely and returned to the farm.
