Term 2 has got off to a great start with many children on the verge of earning their Pen Licence. Keep writing neatly in all your lessons to achieve this great milestone. The quality and quantity of writing in 3LL is really impressive.
The children are getting to grips with ratio and answering word problems in Maths. They are also going great guns with TT Rock Stars to help improve their times tables knowledge.
In Science we are learning about Magnets and Forces and we have already had some most interesting research about magnetism completed for homework. Keep it up.
Our Topic this term is called 'Once upon a Time' and we have already had a walk to Kingsnorth Gardens to imagine what walking through a magical forest would be like. We are busy at the moment planning our own versions of Little Red Riding Hood to retell to the youngest children in school.
Our RE this term is Sikhism with the big question this term being "What is important to Sikhs?"
The children continue to amaze and delight the adults in class with their enthusiasm and continued hard work.
Please keep on listening to the children read at home- this is one of the most helpful things you can do as a parent to ensure continued success.
