Purple Mash Homework Logins and Getting Started Link
Hi Parents,
In our effort to reduce paper waste we are using Purplemash more often for setting homework in Term 2.
We will set each week a maths 2Do challenge on class Dojo- this will be set by your child's maths teacher not necessarily their class teacher.
RwInc spelling will be moving onto Purplemash for some groups of children- those taught by Mrs Renard, Mrs Bell and Mr Jell for RWINc Phonics.
However, some teaching assistant-led groups will still be giving paper sheets out to practice spellings every week as they are not yet trained on setting up groups on Purple Mash.
Occasionally, we may set a 2DO task as homework from another subject area but that wouldn't be more than one per subject each term.
Reading: Listening to your child read at home 3-5 days per week is also expected as part of the weekly homework routine.
Each 2DO usually only takes 5 minutes or less so should not feel onerous. I have shot a Zoom video ( click the link at the bottom of this post) guiding parents through using Purplemash at home. It should work with most tablets, smart phones, laptops and PC's.
I have attached the children's Purplemash login details as a PDF please write them down/print them off and keep them in a safe place where you can refer to them each week.
