2J PE- Running, Throwing and Jumping

As part of our unit Running, Throwing and Jumping this term, 2J have been looking at generating power for bursts of speed and to generate a quick change of direction. These are vital skills that can be used across a range of sports. This week children were carrying out a carousel course of different stations to practise their speed, agility and perform burpees, crab kicks and floor thrusts. 

They enjoyed competing in teams and understood how exercising together can build friendships and improve our mood and well-being.
