2B Poetry P4C

On Monday 2B read and discussed the Poem 'Today;one day' by Micheal Rosen.

Firstly, we watched the poet himself performing the poem. The children immediately  noticed that this poem is unlike others they know from him. Looking in more detail, children wrote on post-it notes what the first verse makes them feel like and what they thought the author was thinking about. We discussed  these thoughts.

Looking at the second verse, children picked up the change of mood and thought it very uplifting .
