LO: To be able to identify, name draw and label the basic parts of the human body.
Children went to visit a rocket that had crash landed and had to help tell the alien Beegu all about animals and humans on Earth. They were asked the following:
Are we animals?
What do we have in common with other animals? – i.e. do we move, sense, eat, get rid of waste, grow, breathe and make more of ourselves?
Arthur: we are the same as animals because we eat the same things.
Alfie: Wolves eat meat and so do we.
Dominykas: Tigers walk on all four legs and we don’t
Axel: Fish breath like us but stay under water which we can’t
Tommy: Wolves live in the woods and we live inside
Bailee: Animals have fur to keep us warm outside
We then labelled the human body.
