1A World Views Day - P4C
Today we spent our time thinking about different world views. We had a talk about Buddhism which was very interesting - especially the part about the symbol of the lotus flower which grows out of the muddy waters. He explained that even when the waters are muddy (maybe we feel sad or angry) the lotus flower will grow (there can be happiness). We talked about this a lot today and it helped us realise that we can often find happiness (lotus flower) and help each other when things get a bit tricky or if we are feeling sad or angry (muddy water).
We had a P4C session about different world views and thought about the question 'Do all world views lead in the same direction?' Open the pdf below to see what we thought.
