1A science - week 1

In week 1 science we tried to identify and name some of the common plants growing around the school grounds.  We observed carefully and tried to ask some questions about the plants.

We found: tulips, daisies, dandelions, poppies, choisia, apple tree, grass, bluebells, ivy and stinging nettles. 

We asked: Does pollen have to be yellow?  Why are plants all different colours?  Do all plants grow from the ground?  Are leaves always green?  What would happen if you didn't water a plant?  What would happen if we didn't have any flowers?  What would happen if we didn't have any plants?
