1A science - sorting and grouping

In 1A we have been working on our skills to sort and group.  This term we are learning about the different animal groups and we have worked together to sort different types of animals.  We started by sorting them into groups such as: animals that have wings/don't have wings, animals that swim/don't swim etc... Then we learnt about the different animal classes: invertebrates, mammals, birds, amphibians, reptiles, fish and we sorted the animals into their classes.  We got a bit muddled with some of the reptiles and amphibians so that could be a little bit of homework for the weekend.
