Learning about Rosa Parks-through drama
11th May 2017
Rosa Parks had to stand whilst waiting for her bus.
When she was asked to move seat, Rosa refused.
The police ordered Rosa to move. She refused and was escorted off of the bus and arrested.
Rosa Parks was taken to jail and had her finger-prints taken. She had never broken a law in her life.
When the news got out, people protested and boycotted the bus.
The protest worked and Rosa's bravery went on to inspire Dr Martin Luther King and the civil rights movement.
