We can change the world!

Social Action has always been at the core of the Academy Community as we strive to care for and those around us. We respond to need as it arises, nurturing compassion and dignity in the hearts of our children.

We know that Social Action can begin with the smallest act of reaching out a hand to help a friend in need, whether that be on our own playground or on the other side of the world.

How then do we live?

Throughout the year, a wide range of good causes are suggested and supported by children, parents, staff and the church. We raise money and awareness in lots of different ways, especially two of our favourites - tag days and our famous cake sales! We also have run our own food bank and offer all children and families a daily free breakfast of porridge or bagels.
