As part of our Fairy-Tale themed topic we took a pleasant stroll around the school grounds. The children reimagined the site as various settings from their favourite stories. Behind the Community Building we found the Big Bad Wolf's lair, in the Quiet Area we found Rapunzel's Tower and in the Nature Area we stumbled across the Wicked Witch preparing a fire to cook Hansel and Gretel upon.
After that we collected some crunchy, bronzed and golden autumn leaves and turned them into collages. First we drew a favourite Fairy-Tale character and then added leaves to created a woodland feel.
