What is the point in surviving if you forget what it is to be human? by Abbie Drowsy, waking up from my deep slumber, The Cat shrieking in agony, like an injured cat: Apprehended, abandoned, and seized without remorse or faith. Fearful, frightened: how do I cope? Creeping, I want to escape, looking for an undisclosed door. Tiptoe, tiptoe, tiptoe, I am a mouse. Anxious, I pray and hope I won’t get caught, Beam of light, surprisingly shining like the scorching sun, Creak, the clandestine door opens; Munchkin’s shadow appears in the darkness, Glimpse of hope, a pendent on Sarah’s neck, A sign of my parents, they are still alive! Fate no longer in my hands, it is definitely time to escape on my boat, Squeak, squeak, and squeak, Shocked, a rat shuffling in his cage, rummaging for food, Munchkin, compassionate at heart, Generous, a heart of gold, A map of Eels Island, belongs to Munchkin’s mum, I want to take William; I have to go west, Fate is now in my hands, hope is in my heart! What is the point in surviving if you forget what it is to be human? by Jessica Feeling sleepy woken up, The Cat screeching as a real cat caught in a cage Captured, imprisoned and seized without remorse or hope . Hunting for a secret door Is it close? I see a slither of light coming closer and closer I feel scared . My heart is pounding I tip toe quietly, like a mouse. Hopefully Munchkin is asleep .Where is Lyca? I need to escape if not I will be lifeless and gone Fate no longer in my hands, it is definitely time to find my Lyca. Shocked a rat shuffling, squeaking in his cage Foraging for some food. Munchkin creeps silently behind me. Frightened he tells me all about my boat and the map. I will find my boat Lyca, I will not give up,
